: It is an impurity of Acotiamide an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor which has been shown to stimulate gastric motility and improve gastric motility dysfunction in rats .Acotiamide Hydrochloride has also been shown to improve meal-related symptoms of functional dyspepsia.
